Predicting the future is a complicated business. It is hard enough to anticipate what you will do next week, much less within a year.
And although trying to project decades into the future is almost impossible, many people try to do it regularly. They are called futurists and their task is to predict what the world will be like in hundreds and years. Given the variable accuracy of the forecasts, we ask ourselves what the futurists of today should have said.
