We learn from an early age that small acts of kindness are what make the world work. However, for Johnny Bobbitt Jr., 34, an act of kindness has done nothing but keep him moving day after day. Her own generosity has inspired so much another person who, and her, has changed the course of her whole life.
Kate McClure, 27, was driving from New Jersey to Philadelphia when she ran out of gas. He stopped on Interstate 95 near one of the highway exits, alone, to find solutions to his problem. Right on the street was Johnny, who saw her when she got out of the car. Trying to walk to the nearest gas station, Kate was attacked by a worried Bobbitt Jr. Johnny encouraged Kate to stay in the car and lock the doors as she went to the gas station for her.
